Girls just want to have fun, so the song goes - but not during a workout.  Let's face it: it's hard and I don't know if I can keep it up!  Butt (pun intended), it's worth it when I think about my goals.  Here are some of the world's fiercest women who definitely kept their goals in mind, and who absolutely deserve a place in history.
  • Malala Yousafzai -- intellectual warrior, ambassador of peace
  • Emmeline Pankhurst -- women's rights warrior, learned jiujitsu to fight  
  • Flora Sandes -- fought during WWI + WWII as captain
  • Qiu Jin -- superior martial artist, fought for women's rights
  • Tomoe Gozen -- fought invasion of samurai clans 
  • Agueda Kahabagan -- Filipina army general who slaughtered foreign invaders
  • Tomyris -- queen of Cyrus who beheaded Persian king  
  • Yennenga -- African princess with exceptional fighting skills
  • Goyen, Lozen, Dahteste -- Apache avengers, killed opponent close-range to avoid noise
  • Hatshepsut -- Eqyptian warrior queen

As we gather with our family and friends this Thanksgiving weekend, please keep electronic devices away from the dinner table.  Show respect to the host who prepared tirelessly for the feast; enjoy the delicious food and have old-fashioned conversation.  After the meal, compliment the host then offer to help with clean-up; I'm sure it will be much appreciated.

As the sunrays of summer bids farewell and rests upon autumn's golden leaves, I reflect.  We need a moment to pull out from the chaos and the daily decision-making.  Reflecting is a novel, profound act that varies from person to person; it is closure and growth dramatically happening at once, allowing us to dive deep within our ourselves so that we may ascend to a higher purpose.

You only learn the "how" later on, usually from a master school with a fine blog on its website. The first thing you must do is to relax.   Why? Relaxing restores your mental power and diverts your energy towards successful results
